But I was intrigued by the name of this cupcake... Hummingbird... sounds so sweet, romantic... I had visions of lush gardens and flowers...
So, I just had to try it... except that it was paired with a cream cheese frosting, which I thought would not do the cupcake justice. So I decided to pair it with something else... salted caramel buttercream. And while I was at it, I drizzled salted caramal over the top, too!!!
Here it is! Doesn't it look scrumptious?!!?
the naked cupcakes - banana based, with hints of pineapple and coconut. How tropical!!! And, the kitchen smelled so fragrant!!!
I could have bought ready made caramel, but no... I wanted a homemade one!
In a six-pack...
I like 'em... not as much as vanilla or mocha, but it is decadent and they're good (hubby says so!!!)
